Our Philosophy

Our program and environment create a secure and loving atmosphere grounded in Christian principles. We provide activites which enable each child to develop, explore, and discover. All children are special, and they deserve our respect and best effort to guide them as they develop. We encourage self-confidence and creativity in a Christian environment. Your child will benefit from a full developmental curriculum that strives to meet his emotional, physical, social, intellectual, and spiritual needs. Our Early Childhood Pastor presents an interactive chapel service once a week, which includes music and movement along with Bible story time. A music class is also a part of our curriculum. Our music teacher introduces instruments along with new and fun songs. Our qualified educational staff provide age-appropriate activities organized around a monthly theme and interest center concept.
Mission Nazarene Preschool offers a play-based program. What we view as play, a child utilizes to explore the world around him. Play is an important tool in a child's growth and development. Children who are encouraged to play learn to use their imagination, and their uniqueness is nurtured. The "play-based" approach seeks to build the curriculum around the creativity of the child as opposed to making the child fit the curriculum.
